4th Edition 7th - 18th July 2009 Culture of the Spirit Festival Sat 18th -Sun 19th July
In response to growing interest outside the SY Sangha in our artistic and cultural activities, the Nirmalarts Academy is holding its Grand Finale event (organized in partnership with The World Foundation and Theatre of Eternal Values ) specifically with the general public in mind. Our aim is that Sahaj culture is perceived as a global culture and that visitors feel welcome to experience the spiritual force which brings seekers together from all over the world - creating a universal culture: the culture of the spirit. The World Centre Campus will be the setting for the Culture of the Spirit Festival with concerts of western and eastern music and dance, theatrical sketches, exhibitions of art and sculpture, handycrafts, a conference, Sahaja meditation area, meals and refreshments. The festival will begin on Saturday 18th at 11.oo and end on Sunday 19th July at 19.oo evening. The main event is the concert on Saturday 18th at 20.oo featuring jazz fusion, indian vocal, theatre and a thirty member classical orchestra performing Mozart Arias and Symphony no. 40. The event is being widely publicised in Milan, Turin and Genova and is expected to draw a large public. It is our heartfelt wish that this event promotes Cabella as a spiritual oasis in northern Italy, reinforcing links with local communities and institutions so that Sahaja Yoga is seen as the integrating force of a new culture: the culture of the spirit. Finally, this is also a last minute call to artists and artisans: if you wish to exhibit and sell their creations contact Purna Giovannangeli: email:
